How the tracker counts your days
- Selling a stock books profit using FIFO — your oldest purchase of that stock is sold first.
- Buy charges are added to your cost, sell charges come off your proceeds, so booked profit is net.
- F&O rows are self-contained: each leg is rounded to whole rupees and profit is sell amount − buy amount, recorded against the date of sell.
- On Together, equity and F&O profit share one pool filling one ledger. On Independent, each book has its own pool, target, start date and covered-through date, and neither can cover a day for the other.
- The pool fills calendar days one after another, each needing your daily target. Weekends and holidays are included, so a big Friday booking can cover Saturday, Sunday and beyond.
- A skipped day stays open. Your next booking fills that day first, then moves forward.
- A loss reduces the pool, which can pull your covered-through date back.
